Asparagus Recipe Ingredients:

  • 1 pkg. LG. Arnold white bread, cut crust off
  • 1 pkg. LG. cream cheese
  • 3 oz. blue cheese
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 2 cans Green Giant asparagus, drain
  • 1/2 lb. melted butter

Asparagus Recipe Cooking processing:

Cut crusts off the bread and roll out thin. Cream together cream cheese and blue cheese and add 1 beaten egg. Spread on bread. Lay 1 stalk of asparagus on each piece of bread and roll-up. Dip rolls in melted butter. Put on a cookie sheet and freeze. To serve thaw cut in thirds and bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.


Asparagus Quiche Recipe Ingredients:

  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
  • 1 pkg. (10 oz.) asparagus
  • 1/2 c. finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 3/4 c. half and half
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • Dash of pepper
  • 1 c. shredded Swiss cheese

Cooking Asparagus Quiche Recipe processing:

Bake pie shell at 400 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. Cook asparagus, drain. Combine milk, cream, onion, salt, nutmeg, and pepper in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, then simmer 1 minute. Stir hot mixture into eggs. Sprinkle 2/3 of cheese into the pie shell. Arrange asparagus over cheese, trimming spears if necessary. Pour in the egg mix. Sprinkle remaining cheese over top. 

Bake at 375 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes or until silver knife inserted 1 inch from center comes out clean. Serves 6.


Asparagus Recipe Ingredients:

  • 1 10″ pie shell, partially baked
  • 4 lg. eggs, beaten
  • 3 tbsp. flour
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 1/2 c. half & half
  • 2 c. grated Swiss cheese
  • 10 fresh asparagus spears, washed &
  • 1 med. tomato, sliced into fourths

Asparagus Recipe Cooking processing:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Beat eggs with the next 4 ingredients. Stir in cheese. Save 6 asparagus spears for the top, chop the rest into 1-inch pieces, lay on the bottom of the pie shell, and pour the liquid over. Bake 20 minutes. Remove and quickly arrange tomato and asparagus on top in a wagon wheel pattern. Bake 20- 30 minutes more. Serves 4-6.


Asparagus Recipe Ingredients:

  • 3 tbsp. butter
  • 3 tbsp. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/2 tsp. salt pepper
  • 3-4 hard-cooked eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. milk
  • 1/4 to 1/2 c. grated cheese
  • 1 bunch fresh asparagus, cooked or 1
    med. can (can use broccoli)
  • 1/2 c. crushed chips or bread crumbs

Asparagus Recipe Cooking processing:

Make the cheese sauce by melting butter, adding flour, mustard, and salt. Add milk, 1/2 cup at a time, and bring to a boil. Then add cheese and immediately remove from heat. Stir until cheese has melted. Taste and season. Place a thin layer of sauce on the bottom of the oven-ware dish and put asparagus on top, then sliced eggs. Continue to layer. Cover with chips or crumbs. Bake at 370 degrees for 20-30 minutes or until all ingredients are hot and topping golden brown. 4-5 servings.
